About this Training

Within the mental health community exposure to traumatic events has been the focus of teaching individuals how to heal and thrive from their troubled pasts. Posttraumatic Growth is positive change experienced as a result of the struggle with a major life crisis or a traumatic event. Using the characters in Supernatural this course will explore how to move from symptoms of Post-traumatic Stress to Posttraumatic Growth.

Wendi Line

Nicki Line aka Therapist Nicki is a licensed mental health counselor and board-certified sex therapist working in Tampa, Florida at Harmony US Inc. She specializes in kink and alternative relationships such as polyamory. She is also a traumatologist and addictologist. Therapist Nicki works with individuals, children, adolescents, relationships, and families. Other areas of specialization include eating disorders, military and civil service personnel. Therapist Nicki brings her unique sense of humor and style to her practice, Harmony US INC., where geek is our kink. She is also known as the Healing Unicorn, using creative methods to clean out old wounds so the individual can heal and thrive. These creative methods include and, are not limited too, incorporating pop culture, anime, virtual reality, comic books, video games, and table top role playing games. She is also a life long geek that never stopped playing or believing in magic. Therapist Nicki is the student director at the International Academy of Collaborating Counseling and Coaching Education (IACCCE). The creator of HarmonyUS Games , the therapeutic gaming branch of HarmonyUS Inc, and co- host of The Movies That Traumatized US podcast. She is an instructor for Kink Therapist Certification Institute and Sex Positive Academy.

Sara Mercier-Kennedy

Graduated from Colorado State University with a double Bachelor’s in Psychology and Sociology, where I focused on Gender Identity formation, and LGBTQIA+ issues. Specifically, those in relation to the Transgender population and access to health-care and mental health counseling by knowledgeable counseling professionals and doctors. I then went on to my Master’s at Walden University where I continued this track and become actively involved in the ACA’s ALGBTIC division and served on the committee for making language in documentation more accessible and gender neutral. I picked up a specialization in Crisis & Trauma after working for Hospice and volunteering at the local LGBT centers around my hometown and university. Eventually I made my way to Florida from Colorado. Gamer/Neet/Anime Weeb and all around enjoyer of life’s little self-care routines.
