CPT codes are the lifeblood of appropriate insurance billing procedures. Yet, they can be confusing at times when to bill for appropriate therapy and psychological testing encounters. This training will go over the basics of CPT coding for mental health professionals across individual therapy, group therapy, couples therapy, psychological testing, and family sessions. Each type of therapeutic encounter requires a specific CPT code in order to be reimbursed and coding incorrectly results in the insurance panels not paying for services rendered. Additional emphasis will be placed upon creating superbills for patients opting to not use insurance to ensure they will be reimbursed as well. Participants will also get a superbill template to use at the end of the webinar for personal use.
