Exploring and Processing Grief Through Games

About this Training

There are so many tabletop roleplaying games out there, it can be difficult to identify which ones are best suited for specific therapeutic goals. Often existing games can be adapted to fulfill different needs, but sometimes designing a game from the ground up to fit your exact objectives makes more sense. This series outlines the basics of RPG design and modification with the goal of using these games in therapy. This training in particular will focus on the specific example of processing the trauma of loss through games with emphasis on tabletop roleplaying games and LARPs.
