Emotional Understanding through Animated Representation: Developing Motivation and Finding your “Fuse”

About this Training

In this workshop, participants will learn about the third domain in Daniel Goleman’s Emotional Intelligence model: Motivation. Utilizing situations from fantasy-oriented animated series created in the last decade which explore emotional and identity development through diverse representation, participants will explore how characters in these series discover the intrinsic and extrinsic motivators that drive them, leaning in to their own sense of personal positivity, dedication to family, and a desire to belong in order to keep going, even when the odds are against them.
